Public’s help sought in identifying man who groped teen in Mountain View MOUNTAIN VIEW – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who inappropriately touched a teen girl on a trail Wednesday night in Mountain View.The victim, a 17-year-old Palo Alto resident, told officers she was jogging on the Bay Trail around 8:30 p.m. when she was approached by a man walking a bicycle, the Mountain View Police Department said in a statement. The man asked the teen if she spoke Spanish and knew how to get back to a hotel, though he did not say which hotel.Police said the man also asked to be shown how to get to the hotel on a map on the teen’s cellphone.
